Originally released in 2001 as Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis, the game was re-released under the Arma name after Bohemia Interactive's publishing contract with Codemasters ended. Set during the Cold War, the player takes part in a fictional conflict between NATO and Soviet forces on a group of islands. Arma: Cold War Assault offers one of the most realistic military simulations ever made.
